1.Inspect and rewind
the film
Inspect the film and rewind in the reverse and then keep
it that way at least a day before using it. |

2.Making wetting
solution
Mix 3~4 drops* of clear & unscented, mild dish detergent
into a half-quart of clean water, in a spray bottle.
*If you were going to install 01316, 01317, 01318,
01319, mix only 1 drop of detergent. |

3.Cleaning the window
Spray the window with this wetting solution and
thoroughly clean the window of all dirt, dust, grease,
etc. Use a squeegee to make the window clean. |

4.Cutting the film
Position a utility knife against a ruler or straight
edge to cut the film on the table. Cut the film about
1/2 inch wider than the window pane. You will trim the
film to the exact size later. |

5.Spray the window
Spray the window evenly with plenty of wetting solution.
(If the room temperature is cold, warm up the room so
the glass is warm.) |

6.Separate the film
from the backing
Separate the film from the transparent polyester
backing. The film is very thin. If you have trouble
separating it from the backing, place a piece of tape on
the corner and gently peel back. |

7.Attaching the film
to the window
Spray the adhesive side of the film evenly with wetting
solution, being careful not to wrinkle or crease the
film. Now you are ready to attach the film to your
window.
You will place the film 1/8 inch inside the window and
can shift it around to perfect fit. Use the wetting
solution, squeegee the film to remove all bubbles, and
then trim the excess film with the utility knife. Leave
a gap of 1/8 inch between all edges of the film and the
window frame. Spray the glass film surface again, and
squeegee in the outward directions to remove any
remaining bubbles and secure the edge. |

8. Clean the surface with a paper
towel, and enjoy. |

|
Please apply the glass film from inside
of the room. Do not apply the film outside.
Please apply the film to flat and smooth surface, glass
or mirror only.
Do not apply the film to WIRE GLASS, any
CAR GLASS, BULLETPROOF GLASS, VERY OLD
GLASS.
The glass films can be removed after installation. But
it cannot be reused.
Sometimes bubbles appear. These are usually visible from
the outside, not from the inside.
Milky white patches may occur during and after
installation, but these will disappear in 1~2 days to 1
week. (01316~01319 only) |
